Director, Digital and E-Commerce Investment Strategy

This role will help lead the evolution of CMI Media Group’s digital practice, focusing on growth with in key emerging areas within the healthcare space. This will include areas of focus such as e-commerce, social media, programmatic and voice. The role will work across clients, supporting innovation while also leading the development of SOPs and best practices.  

  • Key role in leading the evolution of our current digital capabilities while also defining and building out our e-commerce capability 
  • Expertise in e-commerce, experience working across shopping campaigns and feed management 
  • Collaborate with media and digital leaders to test and learn on new e-commerce opportunities for clients 
  • Deep experience across digital ecosystem including SEM, programmatic and social  
  • Experience working with partners such as Amazon, Walmart, Google Shopping etc…  
  • Meet with, analyze, and vet potential partners, data providers and tools related to digital and e-commerce program management 
  • Work with 3rd party data providers and tools to uncover opportunities and inform strategies 
  • Partner and coordinate directly with media planning teams to ensure e-commerce strategies connect to overarching brand strategy and ensure cohesive plan outputs for all clients 
  • Lead the creation of e-commerce marketing strategies for clients 
  • Work alongside measurement team to define KPIs and measurement plans for e-commerce campaigns 
  • Analyze competitor’s e-commerce investment strategies, and build performance media strategies that drive actionable returns 
  • Build relationships with e-commerce vendors, platforms and tools, ultimately delivering recommendations for use 
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members that this role collaborates with, and inspire them to up-skill 
  • Provide strategic media planning guidance and also ensure that all investment is handled properly and to our buying guidelines 

REQUIREMENTS 

  • Minimum of 7+ years’ experience required 
  • Ability to handle a large volume of projects and campaigns 
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) 
  • Performance media and biddable media experience 
  • Portfolio management 
  • 3rd party data & tech partners (i.e. MOAT, Sizmek, DV, Comscore , Nielsen, etc.) 
  • Buying systems (i.e., Prisma) 
  • Comfortable with marketing analytics and working with budgets and numbers 
  • Excellent verbal/presentation, written, interpersonal skills 
  • Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills, and experience creating high-quality work
