Director, Digital Marketing Analytics

The Director, Digital Marketing Analytics is responsible for the strategic oversight of all the Ideliverables, client management, and assisting to grow new business.    The Director will work cross-functionally and cross-organizationally to ensure our clients receive a seamless, best-in-class deliverable, and they value the insights and analytics services.  They work to develop and grow new client deliverables, explore new technologies / methodologies and bring insights to our clients.  The Director will also be responsible for the creation, maintenance and enforcement of department SOPs/protocols directly relating to departmental objectives. They may supervise departmental staff and be accountable for achieving staff billable goals.

  • Oversee the strategic business alignment of measurement/analysis plans on behalf of clients
  • Responsible for strategic oversight of regular campaign performance analysis and optimization recommendations for all assigned accounts
  • Act as team point person for group account assignments
  • Serve as the point of escalation for the majority of internal requests from the media and brand teams when necessary
  • Participate in the exploration and understanding of new measurement and analysis methodologies
  • Participate in new business development activities
  • Lead and help grow new capabilities from an analytics / measurement perspective
  • Assist in the modeling and management of new service deliverables and SOPs
  • Assist Associate Director / Manager manage time spent against multiple projects, ensuring deadlines are maintained and met
  • Oversee the delivery of client deliverables and ensure that they are easily understood by clients
  • Build and Maintain Vendor Relationships
  • Develop and foster client relationships, especially within client’s analytic departments
  • Responsible for developing, leading, and achieving departmental objectives
  • Attend and participate in key industry events
  • Create and enforce SOP on capture of necessary data from both client and suppliers for objectives and KPI’s
  • Ensure effective communication across an interdisciplinary team (Planning, Buying, Supplier Partners, Agency, etc) occurs and work with teams to resolve issues
  • In association with Associate Director / Manager, mentor team on building and maintaining measurement plans based on strategic imperatives, communications objectives and media strategies
  • Provide data/research support to client/planning teams
  • Maintaining general knowledge of campaign performance across clients
  • Work closely with the Manager / Director to generate reporting and analysis of trends and insights for internal and external dissemination
  • Work independently with guidance from remote Senior Management regarding overall goals and objectives

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, statistics, mathematics, economics, psychology or other relevant graduate degree
  • 7+ years of related online marketing, web analytics/, research experience
  • Five+ years experience managing / building a team
  • Experience and / or education in Pharma a plus.
  • Experience managing and coordinating multiple projects across internal teams
  • Proven leadership ability, and strong client relationship skills
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint high efficiency)
  • Knowledge of: SQL and other database technologies, Google Analytics, Adobe Omniture, WebTrends, Microsoft Office.
  • Direct experience with online direct marketing or online media performance analysis.Knowledge of statistical modeling techniques, segmentation, research, lifetime value, ROI, a plus
