Senior Analyst, SEM & Emerging Media

As an integral member of the SEM & Emerging Media team, you will be the day to day tactical and strategic lead on assigned digital media accounts. You will work with media, analytics, and other account management teams to ensure client goals and expectations are met and/or exceeded. This role reports into the Supervisor, Associate Director or Director of SEM & Emerging Media.  


  • Responsible for the overall campaign success on assigned client(s)
  • Work closely with media planning, analytics and other internal teams in analyzing and overseeing paid search, video, contextual and programmatic campaigns
  • Ensure all campaigns are meeting or exceeding campaign delivery, reach, and performance goals by ongoing campaign stewardship and optimization
  • Lead client reporting for assigned tactics in coordination with the analytics team
  • Lead industry education and updates presentations for assigned accounts
  • Build expertise in leading ad technology platforms such as Google Search Ads 360, The Trade Desk, as well as CMI’s proprietary technology and data platforms
  • Lead innovative search, programmatic and emerging media proposals which achieve client objectives
  • Partner with analytics to create A/B landing page and creative ad testing and analysis
  • Present and/or lead internal and client status calls and meetings
  • Perform keyword research and write copy for engine creative for new and existing campaigns
  • Maintain budget and spend allocation for campaigns based on set goals
  • Launch, manage, and optimize programmatic campaigns in demand side platforms like the Trade Desk. Establish best practices and templates for programmatic media buying.
  • Perform regular competitive research analysis for all campaigns
  • Regularly coordinate with vendors and Reps on collaborative recommendations for optimization and management


  • 3+ years experience in managing paid search accounts
  • Strong web analytics background and project management skills
  • Solid working knowledge of MS Office particularly Excel, and Power Point
  • Knowledge of Web Analytics software, such as Omniture, WebTrends, Google Analytics and bid management tools like DoubleClick or the Trade Desk
  • Google certification a plus
  • Organic SEO experience a plus
  • Contextual, video and/or programmatic experience a plus
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical vertical a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, preferably in marketing, business, or related fields
  • Passion for working in a fast growing healthcare media agency
