Associate Director, Business Process

As the Associate Director Business Process you will be expected to think strategically across all facets of a project from start to end and identify areas for process improvement.  You will work across assigned clients as well as create and define processes for specific areas of focus within the data analytics team, becoming a Subject Matter Expert.  You must be able to think critically, direct others with persuasion and diplomacy and have strong communication skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Understand the Services used and provided by the analytics team and how they connect to other teams within the organization and impact client deliverables, and provide recommendations for more efficient processes, ways of using tools, and client outputs.
  • Identify areas for improvement within process; analyze the needs and priorities; suggests and implements solutions across teams/departments.
  • Perform data analysis on existing operations work to measure and report on quality and productivity of processes/workflows.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in more than one departmental wide job function leading and/or overseeing those functions from end to end.
  • Conduct project postmortems inclusive of recommendations for future system or process improvements.
  • Develop accurate and informed roadmaps and project plans and sets clear expectations with the team for their role in delivering to the project
  • Oversight of Junior staff as needed; Manage and mentor staff with guidance regarding overall goals and growth


  • Minimum of 8 years direct work experience as a business analyst or closely related position, including all aspects of process development and execution
  • Certification in Project Management a plus
  • Experience and knowledge of media/marketing data highly desirable
  • Experience working both independently and, in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Proven track record in mapping and optimizing processes
  • Intellectual curiosity-Looks for opportunities to learn more about situations. Explores new ideas and develops novel theories
  • Strong attention to detail. Follows detailed procedures and ensures accuracy in documentation and data. Carefully monitors processes; concentrates on routine work details.
  • Experience managing one to three direct reports. Takes responsibility for one's employees' performance, by setting clear goals and expectations, tracking progress against goals, ensuring feedback, and addressing performance problems and issues promptly.
