Senior Business Process Analyst

As the Senior Business Process Analyst you will collaborate across multiple business teams and departments to define the best way to document current and new processes and solve process-related problems with a focus on data.  You will be responsible for creating more efficient workflows and processes specific to one or more assigned clients and ensures an accurate process is followed, while also working across the department capturing, translating, and optimizing data flow and operational processes. You will become a SME in one or more assigned functions building out process across teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Understand the Services used and provided by the CIA team, and provide recommendations for more efficient processes, ways of using tools, and client outputs.
  • Identifies areas for improvement within process; suggests and implements solutions.
  • Map existing processes and develop appropriate documentation.
  • Help build and maintain centralized process documentation for assigned projects. 
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, documentation, and presentations.
  • Create / Assist in the creation of documentation and training material for new capabilities / SOPs / Data releases as appropriate.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in at least one departmental wide job function, leading that function from end to end including documentation. 
  • Direct project management of development from beginning to end, ensuring execution, and promoting effective project communication throughout
  • Grow business relationships with the people who are vital to the success of projects. Liaise with project stakeholders on a regular, ongoing basis.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years direct work experience as a business analyst or closely related position, including all aspects of process development and execution.
  • Certification in Project Management a plus
  • Experience and knowledge of media/marketing data highly desirable
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic project planning tools (i.e., MS Teams, Smartsheet)
  • Familiar with Visio and/or other process modeling software
  • Experience working both independently and, in a team, oriented, collaborative environment. Collaboration-Works closely with others to complete assigned tasks or achieve a goal. Provides input, makes a request, or shares information 
  • Experience in mapping and optimizing processes
  • Communicates effectively, verbally and in writing. Tailors communication, including technical jargon, so that it is easily understood by the target audience.
  • Adapts to changing business needs, conditions, and work responsibilities. 
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
