Apply Via JobviteWe are seeking a Director, Video Investment to act as a strategic marketing partner to our internal media teams and external clients. In this leadership role, you will be the driving force behind our video investment strategy, fostering thought leadership and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the video space. You will leverage your deep expertise across Advanced TV, OTT/CTV, and OLV/Digital Video to design and execute innovative campaigns that deliver exceptional results. What You’ll Do:
- Lead Strategy: Spearhead the development of cutting-edge video media strategies, from audience and partner selection to cross-platform execution and analysis.
- Drive Performance: Use your sharp analytical skills to identify opportunities that drive client business growth, ensuring all plans deliver maximum strategic value and efficiency.
- Manage Partnerships: Initiate, negotiate, and manage relationships with key media partners and vendors, including industry giants like Disney/Hulu, Amazon, and Roku.
- Innovate & Inspire: Establish CMI Media Group as an authority in healthcare video marketing by launching industry-firsts and representing the organization in public forums.
- Develop a High-Caliber Team: Interview, hire, and mentor a team of video investment specialists, fostering their growth and ensuring excellence in all campaign outputs.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work directly with communications, planning, digital, and analytics teams to ensure perfect alignment and delivery against client KPIs.
What You’ll Need:
- 7+ years of relevant media experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
- Deep, demonstrated expertise in the video ecosystem, including Advanced TV, Digital Video, and Connected TV media buying.
- Proven technical and negotiation skills.
- A strong understanding of the principles of marketing, media concepts, and data sources.
- Experience managing multiple accounts and delivering high-quality presentations.
- Superior communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Technical proficiency with media systems and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; a background in healthcare/pharma is a plus.
The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $90,000 to $180,000. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
