What You'll Do:
- Benefits Administration:
- Audit all benefit deductions to ensure absolute accuracy in payroll processing.
- Coordinate benefit data seamlessly between ADP, our Accounting team, and various benefit vendors.
- Provide vital support for benefit changes, including open enrollment periods and individual life event changes.
- Proactively resolve employee benefit deduction discrepancies to ensure employee satisfaction.
- Payroll Support:
- Process and audit all benefit-related payroll deductions, ensuring proper pre/post-tax application.
- Support general payroll processing, including adjustments and efficient handling of off-cycle payments.
- Assist with comprehensive payroll audits and reconciliation activities.
- Ensure strict compliance with all federal, state, and company payroll policies and regulations.
- Partner closely with the Payroll team on new hire onboarding and employee termination processes.
- Systems & Data Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data within ADP and other relevant HRIS systems.
- Generate essential reports and assist with critical payroll/benefits reconciliations.
- Identify and escalate any data synchronization issues between systems to ensure data integrity.
What We're Looking For (Required Qualifications):
- Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience in Payroll, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2–4 years of hands-on experience in payroll and/or benefits administration.
- Strong working knowledge of payroll processes and employee benefits administration principles.
- Experience working with HRIS and payroll systems; Workday and ADP experience are highly preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion.
- Strong Excel proficiency and analytical skills.
- Solid knowledge of payroll tax and benefits compliance regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience specifically supporting Open Enrollment processes.
