The Opportunity: Team Lead, Workplace Experience
We are seeking a highly organized, service‑oriented, and experienced Team Lead, Workplace Experience to elevate and optimize our employee experience and critical facility operations. In this pivotal role, you will ensure our physical infrastructure and operational environment empower our teams, foster collaboration, and promote a culture of excellence—while strategically managing our commercial real estate needs.

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)

  • Oversee and manage building access protocols, maintaining accurate tracking systems for keys and access cards.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with property management, ensuring efficient building maintenance and timely resolution of facility‑related issues.
  • Manage day‑to‑day building operations, proactively identifying and addressing maintenance needs.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and workplace‑service requests, delivering a high‑quality, customer‑focused experience.
  • Supervise, mentor, and performance‑manage Workplace Associates and other team members for sustained periods, fostering a high‑performing, collaborative environment.
  • Conduct evaluations for specialists and team members, providing constructive feedback and development plans.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with other operations departments to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks and projects.
  • Promote a culture of service excellence, continuous improvement, and a positive, inclusive, and equitable workplace.
  • Strategically manage vendor relationships and operational budgets to ensure efficiency and cost‑effectiveness.
  • Translate operational vision into actionable plans, anticipate challenges, and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Use data analysis to identify trends and inform decision‑making, continuously optimizing workplace operations.
  • Oversee planning, prioritization, and management of multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful delivery.

What You'll Bring (Qualifications & Experience)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field OR significant equivalent experience in commercial real estate or property management.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in workplace operations, commercial real estate, and/or property management, including at least 1 year in a direct supervisory role.
  • Experience supervising Office Managers or administrative staff handling day‑to‑day office operations is highly valued.
  • Proven experience managing vendor relationships, operational budgets, and a working understanding of lease negotiations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Smartsheet.
  • A demonstrated self‑starter with the ability to work autonomously, identify needs, and drive initiatives with minimal oversight.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deliverables effectively.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills to secure favorable vendor and partner terms.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans and anticipate future needs.
  • Strong leadership capabilities—able to inspire teams, build consensus, and navigate complex situations with diplomacy and tact.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to diverse audiences.
  • Comfort working with data, identifying trends, and using insights to guide operational decisions.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities to resolve complex operational challenges.
  • A genuine passion for creating exceptional workplace experiences and fostering a positive employee environment.
  • Understanding of confidential information and sensitivities.
  • Experience in commercial real estate or the hospitality industry is a significant asset.
  • Working knowledge of marketing/advertising agency operations, business systems, and project management processes is a plus.

Physical, Travel & Other Requirements

  • Willingness to travel as needed to other company or partner offices.
  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 20 pounds as required.

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $50,000 to $90,000. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
