Endpoints News – Pharma Marketers Stand ‘Loudly and Proudly’ With LGBTQ+ Community During Pride Month, Despite Boycotts in Other Industries

As Pride Month continues, pharma brands overall are leaning into their support of their LGBTQ+ audiences, even as some consumer brands struggle with balance. Endpoints interviewed Egbavwe Pela, Inclusive Media Center of Excellence lead, as well as dozens of pharma companies to understand everyone’s position. In the article, Egbavwe notes: “It’s extremely important for us to make sure that we are showing ads and providing messaging, content and context to people regardless of background, race, creed (or) sexual orientation. It’s our duty really to ensure that all affected audiences and all tangential audiences are able to see that message to potentially provide lifesaving care.”
