As a Decisions Sciences Intern, you will be an integral part of our Decision Sciences team, collaborating closely with experienced professionals on high-impact projects. Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Acquisition: Retrieve relevant data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
2. Data Cleansing: Pre-process raw data to identify and rectify errors, inconsistencies, and missing values.
3. Data Validation: Verify the integrity of datasets through rigorous validation procedures to ensure reliability in analysis.
4. Data Transformation: Manipulate and transform data into appropriate formats for analysis and modeling purposes.
5. Data Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis using Operations Research techniques to derive actionable insights and support decision-making processes.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with team members to understand project requirements and contribute effectively to project objectives.
7. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data acquisition, cleansing, and analysis processes for future reference.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Python or R programming languages (python preferred).
• Familiarity with JavaScript.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
