About the Role:
As VP, Decision Sciences, you will be a strategic thought leader, responsible for building and leading a high-performing team of data scientists. You will champion the development and implementation of advanced analytical methodologies, including statistical analysis, predictive modeling, data mining, and machine learning, to drive impactful business strategies for our clients. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Data Analytics, Business Insights, IT, Product Development, Media, Finance, and Client Services, to identify opportunities, enhance campaign effectiveness, and drive revenue growth.
 
What You Will Do:
  • Lead and Inspire: Mentor, coach, and develop a team of talented data scientists, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Strategic Visionary: Partner with senior leadership to define and execute the strategic vision for data science, identifying emerging trends and opportunities to expand our analytical capabilities.
  • Analytical Expert: Oversee the development and implementation of advanced analytical models, leveraging cutting-edge techniques to deliver actionable insights to internal and external clients.
  • Client Champion: Collaborate with client teams to understand their business objectives and develop data-driven strategies that maximize campaign performance and ROI.
  • Innovation Catalyst: Drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies, ensuring CMI Media Group remains at the forefront of data science innovation.
  • Cross-Functional Collaborator: Partner with teams across the organization to streamline data collection, ensure data quality, and integrate data-driven insights into all aspects of our business.
  • Business Development Leader: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging data science to create innovative solutions for our clients.
What You Will Bring:
  • Advanced degree (Masters or PhD preferred) in an analytical field such as statistics, data science, operations research, or management sciences.
  • 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing modeling, with a strong emphasis on DTC marketing and media mix modeling.
  • Proven experience leading and managing high-performing teams.
  • Deep understanding of statistical and machine learning techniques, including ANCOVA, ANOVA, and predictive modeling.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, SAS, and SQL.
  • Expertise in working with pharmaceutical data sources (IQVIA, Symphony, PurpleLab, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise language for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Passion for innovation and a commitment to staying at the forefront of data science advancements.
