Vice President, Paid Social

CMI Media Group is looking for a Vice President, Paid Social who will oversee paid social strategy and ensure cohesion and pull-through of best practices and strategic imperatives at the enterprise level. Additionally, you will be the point of escalation and proactive guidance to internal and external partners. You are responsible for overall client performance within the channel and work closely with the SVP, Paid Social, to ensure proper staffing and seniority for their respective team.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Establish relationships with senior members of our client teams, making them advocates of paid social and CMI Media Group.
  • Be a leader across the activation teams (SEM/programmatic/video/ECOMM etc.) driving cross-channel learnings and campaign optimizations.
  • Stay abreast of changes in the marketplace, new social networks and help our clients understand how they can be leveraged to help their brands.
  • Manage a team of paid social leaders and individual contributors, helping them grow and develop into full stack social media marketers.
  • Ensure the CMI Media Group social team is using best in class tools by staying on top of shifts in the market and available toolsets.
  • Familiarity with regulated industries and how social media can be utilized within the regulations.
  • Lead the education of client teams, helping them see value in social media and help them understand how it can be utilized to benefit their brands.
  • Stay up to date on the use of social media in the pharmaceutical space, specifically keeping a pulse on FDA regulations and processes.
  • Help lead thought leadership efforts related to social media on behalf of CMI Media Group.
  • Work alongside creative and PR agencies to adjust messaging based on social analysis.
  • Utilize social analytics tools to analyze content promotion efforts and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Create new and innovative ways for clients to engage brands.
  • Motivator of large teams; provides direction and opportunities to grow careers and benefit both personal and organizational growth.
  • Experience with paid social media efforts across major social networks 
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of social media experience, preferably in the healthcare space.
  • Bachelors’ Degree or equivalent in marketing, business or any quantitative or analytical related field preferred.
  • Experience with paid social media efforts across major social networks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and leadership presence.
  • PC proficiency and solid working knowledge of MS Office particularly Excel, basic knowledge of pivot tables and V-Lookups.
  • Healthcare/Pharmaceutical background a plus.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, clients and supplier partners.
  • Proven ability to put together strategic social media plans that are measurable and contribute to clients’ business goals.

  • Commercially oriented, confident, outgoing, articulate, persuasive.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • High attention to detail with ability to multi-task while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Outstanding quantitative, analytical, and critical thinking skills
