CMI Media Group is seeking a Senior Analyst, People Insights & Systems to play a pivotal role in optimizing our People strategies through cutting-edge data analytics and system integration. This is a unique opportunity to lead the charge in building a robust, data-driven HR ecosystem that empowers our leadership to make informed decisions and enhance the employee experience.
As our Senior Analyst, you will be the architect of our People data landscape. You'll be responsible for seamlessly connecting and optimizing our core HR technology systems, including Workday (HRIS), Greenhouse (ATS), Culture Amp (engagement surveys), and various employee sentiment tools. Your expertise in analytics, automation, and system enhancements will be crucial in delivering key insights that drive talent decisions, workforce planning, and elevate our employee experience initiatives.
This role demands a unique blend of technical prowess, business acumen, and strategic thinking. You'll translate complex People data into compelling narratives and actionable intelligence, directly influencing our workforce's future. Beyond the technical, you'll be a change agent, ensuring successful adoption and utilization of HR technologies across the organization.
What You'll Do:
  • Data Integration & Automation Master: Lead the assessment of our current People data landscape, identifying pain points and establishing robust data pipelines that connect Workday, Greenhouse, Culture Amp, and sentiment tools. Design and implement API integrations and automation workflows to ensure real-time, accurate data flow and a seamless HR tech ecosystem.
  • Insight Generator: Build powerful Power BI/Tableau dashboards that combine recruiting trends, engagement scores, and sentiment insights. Conduct predictive analytics to forecast talent needs and turnover risks, utilizing workforce planning models to optimize resource allocation.
  • Strategic Advisor: Translate complex data findings into clear, compelling narratives and visualizations, effectively communicating insights and data-driven recommendations to diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
  • System Optimizer: Refine Greenhouse's recruiting funnel metrics, ensuring smooth transitions to Workday. Use Culture Amp data to inform hiring strategies, identify cultural fit, and track retention patterns. Create feedback loops between candidate experience and employee sentiment to enhance employer branding.
  • Continuous Improvement Champion: Support user training sessions, monitor platform utilization, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with IT and People teams to ensure seamless tech adoption and minimal disruption during system upgrades.
  • Data Integrity Guardian: Conduct rigorous QA of data across multiple platforms to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity in reporting and analytics.
What You'll Bring:
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in workforce analytics, People/HR data insights, or related functions, with a solid understanding of People/HR data and metrics.
  • Workday HRIS (configuration, reporting, data flow/management) experience.
  • Excel, SQL, or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Domo, Workday Prism Analytics) preferred.
  • Analyzing recruiting funnel data from Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) like Greenhouse and leveraging recruiting automation.
  • Developing and implementing system optimization strategies, leveraging data integration tools and techniques (APIs, ETL).
  • Analyzing employee engagement metrics (e.g., from Culture Amp or similar platforms).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Why Join Us?
This is an incredible opportunity to make a significant impact within a forward-thinking agency. You'll be at the forefront of leveraging technology and data to shape our talent strategy, foster a positive employee experience, and contribute directly to our overall success.
