CMI Media Group and Compas are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director, Customer Development to spearhead our new business initiatives. As a key player on our growth team, you'll be the driving force behind identifying, cultivating, and securing new partnerships with leading healthcare companies.
 
What You'll Do:
  • Be a Relationship Master: Cultivate and nurture relationships with senior executives at pharmaceutical companies, agencies, and consultancies, transforming them into long-term partners.
  • Uncover Hidden Gems: Identify key opportunities within our existing client portfolio to cross-sell and up-sell our full suite of services.
  • Lead the Charge: Develop and execute strategic plans to drive new business and organic account growth, collaborating closely with our executive team.
  • Craft Winning Proposals: Masterfully articulate the value of our comprehensive services – from media planning and buying to innovative data solutions – through compelling proposals and presentations.
  • Champion Collaboration: Partner with internal subject matter experts to develop winning RFP responses and showcase our industry-leading capabilities.
  • Own the Process: Oversee all aspects of the RFI/RFP process, ensuring timely delivery and compelling content.
  • Data is Your Guide: Track and analyze leads, sales opportunities, and revenue outcomes, using data to inform your strategies and measure success.
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Maintain a deep understanding of market trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies within the healthcare industry.
  • Mentor Future Leaders: Guide and mentor junior team members, fostering their professional growth and ensuring the smooth execution of key support functions.
  • Be a Brand Ambassador: Travel to industry events and conferences to generate new business and represent CMI Media Group & Compas as a leader in healthcare marketing.
What You'll Bring:
  • Proven Success: 7-10 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the healthcare sector, with a track record of exceeding targets.
  • Strategic Mindset: A deep understanding of market trends and healthcare industry dynamics, coupled with the ability to translate insights into actionable business strategies.
  • Analytical Prowess: Advanced analytical skills to interpret complex data and inform high-level business decisions.
  • Communication Dynamo: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of captivating and persuading executive audiences.
  • Tech Savvy: Strong understanding of back-end systems, particularly WordPress and Google Analytics.
  • Team Player: A collaborative spirit and passion for mentoring and developing others.
